SERIES WINNERS ...Trophies and prizes will be presented to the top three teams based on accumulated points from the 5 rounds.

Special Notes

Kart Changes, All Drivers will perform a mandatory pit stop between 40 - 80 minutes and complete a kart swap during the One Hour race. The strategy is up to you and you will need to pick the right lap to stop on to avoid the pit lane rush

Pace Karts, To make the racing more even this year we will introduce a pace kart that will be deployed on track should there be a incident where a kart is on track it what is deemed to be a dangerous position for the driver or other racers

Grid Positions, Grid positions will be allocated on best qualifying times recorded

Weight categories, There will be two weight divisions. Light Class up to 79kg : Heavy Class 80 kg plus...

Maximum driver weight is limited to 120 kg

Rules

Rules and Regulations

Two Driver, 120 minutes of racing, One Hell of a Night Out.

The Event is a 2 hour race driven by 2 drivers who will equally share the drive. (Driving stints ar 20mins each)
At Half way point Drivers will stop in pit lane change to another go kart and must be stationary for 60 seconds before re-joining the race
At the 2 hour mark the lead driver will complete just 2 more laps and the race is completed
Drivers who fail to stop for a pitstop as required will be disqualified from the race
Drivers who don’t do a full 60 second pit stop at the kart change over will be penalised 90 seconds in the results per infringement
Alternative pit stops can be conducted as quickly as you can do so.
A pace kart will, be deployed in the event that the track is blocked and track crew are needed to work on the track
On the rolling restart the karts will be in single file and as the pace kart pulls into the pits the lead driver will control the restart pace
In the case of rain the race will be run if safe to continue so do not assume that the rain has cancelled your event.
No refunds will be paid for no shows on race night.
Transferring your payment to another time and date is available if you provide 7 days notice.
Race results will be declared on the night and no further discussion or debate will be entered into.
Mechanical breakdowns are a part of motor sport and no refunds will be offered should you fail to complete the race.
All kart damage due to accidents or collisions may be charged to the driver of the kart if deemed due to the drivers actions
Once the race has commenced the event is declared as run and no refunds are offered.
The race winner is declared after the first team completes the required race time so slower drivers may not complete all laps.
The stewards decision in any protest is final.
Drivers may be substituted up to 1 hour prior to the event without loss of points.
Minimum Team weight is 160 kg (may be two drivers of 80 Kg or a combination that equals the 160 kg min. limit)
Drivers minimum age is 18 years for race events at Kingston Park Raceway

Wet Race, In the event of a ‘rained out’ evening, (NON EVENT) drivers will receive a rain-out pass for public hire Adrenaline pack.

Points: In the cases of rain out events the management reserve the right to remove cancelled rounds from the 2020 Series and the winner will then be decided using the points accumulated during the other rounds that have been completed.

Entry Fees

Entry for the event is $250 per team. (2 Man Teams x $125 per person.)

A club membership is required. Available on the night at $5.50 pp.

Starting positions will be determined by the qualification process

National Hire Kart Championships

This year the winners of each competition will quilify to compete in the National Hire Kart Championship qualifiers here at KPR.

The Prize will include free entry to:

The Qualifiers race Event
1 hour qualifying session
Schumacher 4 race Sprint event

Top 5 Drivers on the day (points) will qualify to represent KPR in the National Hire Kart Championship Titles.

Top 5 Drivers will win:

Trophies and prizes
A day at the GC600 in Grandstand seats
Presentation Night Award Dinner

NHKC race day is Friday 18th October 2020

NB: minimum weight is 80kg (balast suits allowed)

All Participants agree that images and reference to respective teams may be used in promotion of this and similar events in all media format.
Teams must compete in at least 3 rounds to qualify for the Triple M Team Challenge Series prize.
