Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions that apply to the sale of go kart hire tickets are displayed on the premises of Kingston Park Raceway. Guests are invited to make themselves familiar with all requirements before purchasing any tickets.


Trading Terms

  • MINIMUM NO. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS 
  •  Tag Team events - 40 drivers / Sprint events - 10 drivers / Exclusive Use - 25 drivers / Adult’s Party - 10 drivers / Children’s Party - 5 drivers 
  •  DECREASED DRIVER NUMBERS - All events are booked for an agreed number of drivers and decreases in that number with less with 7 days prior notice will result in the issuing of a $25 admin fee per ticket. If booked as an exclusive event you will be required to pay for a minimum of 25 drivers. 
  •  INDEMNITY FORMS - Drivers are reminded that Go karting can be a dangerous recreational past time and injuries may occur. Please read the indemnity forms carefully before approving the waiver. 
  •  MARKETING MATERIAL - All photographs, film and other images of me while I am at the premises may be developed, printed or reproduced and used free of charge for any legal purpose (including commercial advertising and promotions) in accordance with the Kingston Park Raceway Privacy Policy.
  • WHAT IS A RACE SESSION - Sodi kart sessions are 10 minutes in duration. (Le Mans Track) Formula kart sessions are 6 minutes. (Monte Carlo Track)  
  • SESSIONS - The operation of karts on track may differ to publicised times due to weather, maintenance schedules, safety inspections or other reasons. Riders, please note that during extremely busy periods some delays will occur. Karting sessions may be moved from one track to another when any of the above situations occurs. 
  • RIDE RESTRICTIONS - Restrictions such as height, weight and/or physical ability apply to some go-karts. You accept the risks of taking part in those activities and should make your own assessment of those risks before doing so. You must obey all safety signs. Minimum height 1,200mm. 
  • HEALTH WARNING - Because of the extreme forces and excitement created by go-karting riders should be in good health and free from any physical limitations or medical conditions, including but not limited to neck weakness, back weakness, recent surgery, broken bones, heart conditions, nervous disorders, motion sickness and epilepsy. Management recommends that pregnant women should not ride the karts without medical approval. It is the responsibility of the supervising career or guardian of anyone of diminished intellectual or physical capacity to notify Kingston Park Raceway in writing of that diminished capacity. For safety reasons, people with diminished capacity will not be permitted to participate in any Kingston Park Raceway Sprint or enduro race events. 
  • KART RACING CAN BE DANGEROUS - It is possible that serious injury may occur as other riders may be of limited skill and ability. All riders must accept the risks associated with racing in mixed groups and must obey all instructions from track marshals. 
  • NO GLASS POLICY - As a safety precaution, Kingston Park Raceway has a “NO GLASS” policy. When you enter the complex, you must hand in to Kingston Park Raceway any glass containers in your possession. Those containers will be returned to you at your request when you exit the complex. Containers which are not collected within seven (7) days will be treated as abandoned and Kingston Park Raceway has the right to dispose of them.
  • NO DOGS POLICY - Due to Local council bylaws no dogs are to be on site. 
  • CODE OF CONDUCT - All riders must observe the marshals’ instructions and behave in a sensible and proper manner whilst on and off the track. No foul language or abusive behavior will be tolerated to any staff, offenders will be asked to leave. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs or whose behavior is considered unacceptable. Management reserves the right to terminate any driver’s karting should it be determined that they are affected by drugs or Alcohol. No refunds will be given for uncompleted rides. 
  • SLIP SLOP SLAP - Slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen and slap on a hat. This is good advice for all visitors to the park.  Management also suggests that you drink lots of water whilst enjoying your day at the raceway. 
  • LOST PROPERTY - Management does not look after personal belongings and will not accept claims for lost property. Management suggests that patrons use the lockers provided for storing valuables. 
  • DAMAGE TO PROPERTY - Due to the physical exertion placed on riders management suggest that you make your own assessment of the forces of karting and by purchasing a ticket you have accepted the risk of damage to clothing and belongings. NB: No free-flowing robes, scarves or clothing is permitted when racing. 

SPECIFIC DRIVER REQUIREMENTS -

  • SODI KARTS; Minimum age 16yrs, Min height 1,600mm, Max height 1,950mm, Max Weight 130kg’s  
  • FORMULA KARTS; Minimum age 10yrs, Min height 1,200mm, Max height 1,850mm, Max Weight 120kg’s 
  • HAIR SAFETY: All hair longer than the shoulder blades is required to be tied back and retained in a hoody or one of the KPR race suits ($5.50) available at counter. 
  • TRACK RULES - Organisers of events are responsible for the conduct of the invited guests and will ensure that all drivers comply with the track rules as displayed and that they will follow instructions as given by the marshals. 
  • DEPOSITS - For all bookings made through our sales department a 30% deposit is required to secure the event upon confirmation of a date. Deposits will not be refunded should you cancel within 7 days prior to the event. In such an event the client accepts that all prepayments will be forfeited. 
  • PAYMENT IN FULL - All Sprint and enduro Events require full payment 7 days prior to the event.  
  • PAYMENT TYPES - We accept Cash, direct deposits, and credit card only, no amex. A surcharge of 1% applies to all Credit and Debit card transactions and. 
  • SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS - Specific requirements for your race event including number of drivers, trophies, and catering, all need to be finalised, confirmed in writing and all outstanding monies paid as per the event trading terms 7 days prior to the event date. 
  • CANCELLING EVENT – Failure to alert event cancellation 7 days before the event will result in a $25 admin fee per ticket refunded however, there are no refunds on the day of the event for no shows. 
  • CHANGING EVENT DATES - Kingston Park will always make every effort to assist you in changing your event dates, but please be advised that we require a minimum of 7 days’ notice in order to alter your booking, failure to advise of changes to event date 7 days before the event a $25 admin fee per ticket will be incurred. 
  • IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER - It is at the discretion of Kingston Park Raceway management to continue or abort the race event / party. Drivers will be permitted to continue if the precipitation is light and intermittent but where constant rain falls, a decision to abort the event will be made by Kingston Park Raceway management. If the decision is to halt racing for the day, the event will be rescheduled to a date that is convenient for the client and should the race have already started prior to rain falling and then aborted, the rescheduled event will include only the unfinished portion of your original booking. 
  • RESCHEDULED EVENTS - We will make available alternative dates and work with you to reschedule the event. Due to our busy schedule rescheduled events will not be run during peak times. The event must be completed within 3 months of the original event date. Event deposit will be forfeited after that date. 
  • NO SHOWS - Final Driver Numbers must be confirmed 7 Days Prior to your Event Date. Please note that minimum numbers apply, and No Refunds or Credits will be given for No Shows.
  • REFUND POLICY - If your race is unfortunately canceled or postponed, drivers will receive a replacement pass for the unused portion of your ticket, the replacement tickets are valid for 3 months from date of your original booking. Ride replacement tickets may be offered in the case of inclement weather at the discretion of management. Refer to our refund policy as displayed for full details. 
  • CATERING AT RAIN AFFECTED EVENTS - Once your event has commenced and is unfortunately rescheduled or cancelled by Kingston Park Raceway due to Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances there will be no refund of the catering charges if the caterers have commenced preparation, however all care will be taken to liaise with the caterers prior to the event and in the case that the caterers have not commenced preparation there will be no charge and the catering will be rescheduled to the new event date. 
  • EARLY ARRIVAL - Please make sure that all drivers arrive at Kingston Park Raceway 45 minutes prior to your event. Late arrivals which impact on the late running of the days racing may result in your event being shortened without refund due to the strict time restraints at the raceway. TROPHIES - All trophies pre-engraved with the event date will incur a $15.00 fee for correction to reflect the rescheduled event date. 
  • RIDING TOGETHER - There is no guarantee that family or friends will race together, if you are intending on racing together, please ensure that all drivers have identical event names when booking online.  
  • ARRIVE AND DRIVE WAIT TIMES - All Arrive, and Drive rides are a wait-in-line to-ride arrangement. No reserving of positions in the queue is permitted. During busy periods extended wait times may be present and subject to availability.  
  • ONLINE BOOKINGS - When booking online customers are required to provide a valid Photo ID when asked during processing.  Drivers must wait near driver briefing areas for your session to be called, drivers are to arrive 45 minutes before the session start time for process. Tickets purchased online run to a schedule and if drivers are late may miss their race, there may be an extended wait period during busy times  
  • MULTIPLE RIDE TICKETS - Multiple ride ticket holders are advised that they must wait and hear for your session to be called.  
  • NON-SHAREABLE TICKETS - These tickets are sold on a per-person basis and cannot be shared between other drivers.
  • DISCOUNT VOUCHERS - These discounts are to be presented at point of sale and are for a maximum of 4 people per voucher and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

  • COMPLIMENTARY VOUCHERS - These vouchers can be redeemed between 10 am and 5 pm on any day other than Saturday, cannot be upgraded and are not redeemable for cash.

  • ENTRY TO THESE PREMISES CONFIRMS YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS DISPLAYED ON OUR SITE AND BINDS YOU TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES AND POLICIES OF KINGSTON PARK RACEWAY. PERSONS WHO FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS MUST LEAVE THE PROPERTY WHEN ASKED TO DO SO OR LEGAL ACTION AND POSSIBLE PROSECUTION MAY TAKE PLACE.
