Friday Night Challenge - Week 44 2020

As all drivers grid up behind the pace kart waiting to take off the pace kart pulls into the pits and the drivers head down the main straight and the lights green and we are off and racing down into turn one 

Holding off the front row we have Jake Triffet and Ryan Davis battling it out for the lead with Jake just holding on to it. Todd Anderson is on the move as he gets pass Jay Hijazi at 4 with a great move down the inside. The battle for 2nd place is on at Max Triffett is on the hunt and having a lot more pace then the drivers out in front it didn’t take long for Max Triffett to get past and now trying to chase down the leader. Down  the main straight we got and Todd Anderson and Jake Triffett racing side by side and down into turn one we go with Todd Anderson grabbing 4th place but Jake was not letting him get away as he was glued to his bumper. 

Lap six and out in front Darren Luback after starting in 4th place what a great drive so far but its not  a done deal yet as Max Triffett is wheeling him in as Max breaks into the 62 seconds doing everything he can to get to the leader. Max Triffett is now hot the on the gearbox of Darren Luback and then Max Triffett Sends it at turn 7 and makes it stick and takes the lead of the race. 

The lead swaps and now Ryan Davis has Darren Luback in his sights but time has run out and the checker flag is out for the winner of tonight's FNC race on the 1100 meter Lemans track. The win goes to Max Triffett starting from 5ths and and showing plenty of style, then a close battle for 2nd place with  Darren Luback after leading most of the race but still a good result and bring it home in 3rd goes to Ryan Davis.

Points winners of the month go to 1st Trana Stiles 806 points,  2nd Danika Taylot  680 points and 3rd with a great drive was Damon McDonald  572 points 

Well about wraps up another great Friday Night Challenge here at Kingston Park Raceway.
