FNC September 2020 - Week 35

Posted on June 23, 2021 by

After the grid have done their races, we have taken the top six drivers to let them battle it out to prove who it is the best of the tonight.  It is super final time and all drivers grid up behind the pace kart waiting eagerly for the pace kart to peel off the track, we are under starters orders and the lights go green and we are off racing down into turn one Corey Oneil leading it out of turn one but hot on the rear of his kart was Stacey Maiden showing some early pace over the rest. Ashley Huston left a gap big enough for a bus to drive through and he got left high and dry at turn two dropping him down the grid allowing Kyle Reimers to move up the grid into 3rd place.

Leader Corey Oneil heads down into turn seven for the second time and Stacey Maiden pulls out and goes for the move around the outside of seven almost ending up into the tire wall but made the move stick and took the lead coming onto the main straight. Corey Oneil Shocked from that move missed his braking marker going into turn one and ran wide allowing Kyle Reimers to take 2nd place off him dropping Corey Oneil back into 3rd place.

As we start lap 7 Stacey Maiden is now out in open air and has pulled away from the rest of the grid running 61 second lap times. Corner 7 can bite and Michael Goodchild lost it going into turn seven and unfortunately dropping him to the rear after putting on such a good show. But we have all eyes on the finish line now and the Checker flag is out and the leaders head across the line. Stacey Maiden takes the win here tonight with a comfortable lead over the rest of the grid great drive. Kyle takes home a well deserved second place with Corey close in pursuit but out of laps.

1st Stacey Maiden (fastest lap 60:070)

2nd Kyle Reimers

3rd Corey Oneil

We run a monthly competition and the top 3 drivers for August are :

1st Stacey Maiden 646 points

2nd Corey Oneil 556 points

3rd Ashley Huston 544 points
