On the Grand Final night, the teams faced the starter for 4 races and in the last race of 2020 this is how it went down. Their tightly bunched in  the rolling start and the pace car peels into pit lane,   lights go green and it has all come down to this as the karts swoop into turn one with Nathan Heuschele (RJ Batteries) jumping away to a fast start and  Chris Adams (TechPath) in hot pursuit. Callum Hardy (TechPath) was charging hard in 3rd but has run wide on lap two and falls back to the rear of the field and leaving a spot wide open for Troy Adams (TechPath) to slip through and steal 3rd spot. Behind him we have a group of 6 that are less than 1 second apart Going into lap 4 and the 3 leaders are battling for first and allowing the group lead by Ken Dixon, Ashton Randall, Jack Vincent, Lance Scott, Nick Heuschele and Jordan Coca to close the gap. Drivers are starting to bunch and impatience leads to poor decisions and coming through the chicane and on to the straight they enter 5 karts wide but only 3 made it through and Lance Scott (JJ Richards) and Jordan Coca (B105) were driven wide and down the order. Lap 6 and just 2 to go and Chris Adams has made his move and runs deep under brakes into the hairpin to steal first from Nathan Heuschele followed by Troy Adams, Nick Heuschele and the B105 Bandits top off the lead group. The battle in the mid field was fierce with Bianca Labutis-Mays, showing some style and holding out a hard charging Lachlan Stewart (Bendigo Bank) and Callum Hardy on a comeback charge. Lap 8 and the flag is out,  first across the line is Chris Adams closely followed by Nathan Heuschele and just 2 seconds back was Troy Adams, a great result for the TechPath team with a 1 – 3 finish on Grand Final night but was it too late in the series with the Boys from B105 and R&J Batteries left to fight for the 2020 Crown.
