Welcome to another Friday Night Challenge here at Kingston Park Raceway with grids of drivers ready to take on the 1100-meter lemans track. After the grids have completed their races, we have taken the top three drivers of each to let them battle it out to prove who is the fastest of the night. As they all get ready, our top six drivers: Tarna Stiles, Josh Sutton, Chong Lu, Danika Taylor, John Wooler and Zack Howell head out on track gridding up behind the pace kart.
With Zack Howell on pole leading the grid down the straight, the lights go green, and we are off and racing down into turn one. Zack Howell holds on to the lead coming out of turn one and starts to pull away from the rest of the grid as the driver behind get stuck battling it out. Oh No! Chong Lu wipes out at turn three taking out Tarna Stiles with him. Unlucky, just the wrong place at the wrong time.
Danika Taylor moves up into 2nd place moving past the stuck drivers. Chong Lu is at the rear of the grid and has a lot of work to do to get back to the front. He does prove his skill as he sets the fastest lap of the night but is a little too far behind to get back in front. Zack Howell is out in front with a 4 second lead over the rest of the grid has had a smooth race. Now he just needs to bring it home.
Tarna Stiles moves himself back up into 4th places after his bad run. Josh Sutton is sitting comfortably in 3rd place trying to wheel in 2nd place but just cannot reach the same pace to close the gap in. The checkered flag is out and Zack Howell takes the win for tonights Friday night challenge. The fastest driver of the race goes to Chong Lu with a 62.9 second lap time.
