FRIDAY NIGHT CHALLENGE 21ST AUGUST 2020 The pace kart is in and the lights go green and we are off racing down into turn one. Bede O’Rourke gets off to a ripper of a start and holds the lead coming out of turn one. Chris Cullen is on the move early trying to run the outside of turn 2 trying to get the lead but gets left high and dry sliding out and dropping off the back of the leader allowing Luke Higgins to get past and Luke started from 6th place and now already into 2nd place our biggest mover in the grid at this point.
Bradly Bateman is on the charge up the grid starting in last place and moves his way into 4th places by conclusion of lap 2. Luke Higgins sends it down the inside of Bede O’Rourke at turn one and take 2nd place away from him and out of not were Bradly Bateman takes full advantage of this move and moves into 3rd place. Down the main straight we go three wide for the lead and Bradly Bateman comes out in front with taking the dive down into turn one and managing to hold his line as he exits the turn.
They say racing isnt easy and none better than Michael Goodchild would know this after he ends up meeting the tires and that is no good for his race results. He has dropped out of the top 4 and looks to have run his race. Ben Higgins down in 5th pulls out the fastest lap of the race with a 62.080 and flying trying to pull back the leaders as they drove away early in the race. Bradly Bateman our leader has pulled out a gap over the rest of the grid and sets hs sights on the flag as he cruises home for the win.
The Checker flag is out, And Bradly Batman takes the win after a commanding drive tonight’s FNC.
