NATIONAL HIRE KART CHALLENGE
This year the Pro Series will be renamed as the National Hire Kart Challenge.
Racing starts promptly at 9;00 am, (arrival at 8:15 am recommended)
This is Queensland's best managed and most competitive hire kart racing.
*** Top 5 Drivers will qualify to race in the National Championships.
Drivers must possess KPR - Pro Club License to compete (62.5 sec)
Minimum weight of 80 kg applies, Drivers may need weight jackets Link
Trophies and awards will be presented after each round.
FREE Sausage Sizzle for lunch straight after Trophy Presentations
CHAMPIONSHIP RACE DAY
Top 5 series point scorers will receive automatic entry to compete in the National Hire Kart Challenge
State against State including QLD, NSW and VIC teams.
The competition on the day will inc 5 mins Qualifing and 4 x 10 Sprint Races
** Minimum weight of 80Kg applies to NHKC racing
Below are the first 9 race dates so you can put them in your diary.
1st March, 29th March, 26th April, 31st May, 21st June, 26th July, 30th August, 27th September, 18th October Final
Series top 5 point scorers will get free entry in to the Australian Hire Kart Challenge Finals to be held here at KPR on Saturday 31st October
Trophies and prizes will be presented to the top three drivers based on accumulated points for the year.
Kart Changes, All Drivers will perform a mandatory kart swap for every race.
Pace Karts, To make the racing more even this year we will introduce a pace kart that will be deployed on track should there be a incident where a kart is on track it what is deemed to be a dangerous position for the driver or other racers
Grid Positions, Starting positions will be determined by the qualification shoot out.
Wet Race, In the event of a ‘rained out’ event, (NON EVENT) drivers will receive a rain-out pass for a future event at a date TBC.
Entry for the event is $110 pp. (BBQ/ Sausage Sizzle lunch Provided)
A Pro Club membership is required. (You must have completed race laps quicker than 62.5 sec to race in Pro Club).
Starting positions in race 1 will be determined by your qualifying times.

GC 600 Grand Stand Tickets for the Saturday 31st October V8 Super races
Plus free entry in the Australian Hire Kart Championships to represent Qld in the state against State Challenge
Series Championship Trophies 1st, 2nd, 3rd National Champions
A chance to be crowned AHKC 2020 at the Awards Dinner
